Walworth Garden is an award winning organic community garden in Southwark that is open to all seven days a week. They are embarking on a site improvement project that will unify their site and buildings into an Environmental Learning Hub for London. The sustainable structures will be home to an expanded programme of gardening therapy sessions, community learning events, Horticultural skills courses and much more. In addition to the expanded and improved learning spaces and site improvements, our grant of £97,000 will help support the installation of solar panels and an air source heat pump which will help the Garden shift to entirely on-site renewable energy.
