We are excited to have signed a new Grant Agreement with Trees for Cities. The organisation’s work is aimed at improving urban life by planting trees and creating greener cities. Our £15,000 grant will go towards their Planting Healthy Air in Schools programme, which is specifically aimed at improving the air that children breathe every day. Two partner schools will benefit from our grant, contributing to the creation of a healthy green environment to learn in.
Trees for Cities will work closely with 12 schools over 3 years, and we are supporting the implementation of the programme in two schools specifically (Tudor Primary School in Barnet and Christ Church Bentinck in Westminster). Through this programme, around 475 pupils will have the chance to engage with nature, learn more about the environment and enjoy a safe and healthy learning space. We look forward to seeing how Trees for Cities impacts the lives and health of pupils!
