Our grant of £146,000 will go towards the purchasing of a Curvebeam Hi-Rise weight-bearing Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanner at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH).
The Curvebeam Hi-Rise scanner will revolutionise RNOH’s orthopaedic care by providing high-quality, weight-bearing scans of hips, knees, ankles, feet and exceptional imaging of hands, and wrists. Not only will it benefit approximately 6,000 patients annually – six times what they can do now – the scanner is five times faster and requires a lower dose of radiation compared to previous equipment.
We are excited to support RNOH in improving the patient experience.
