Since they were founded in 1967, New Horizon Youth Centre have been working with young Londoners who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Today they offer holistic services to start getting their lives back on track. It is this important mission that has resulted in our award of a £100,000 grant to support this work.
New horizon youth centre’s approach recognises that no young person (16-24 years old) affected by homelessness has the same story and neither are their needs. They provide young Londoners personalised support with the aim of giving their potential a home. This help could be in the form of housing, improving health, teaching life skills, helping participants into jobs, education and training, and supporting young people in unsafe situations.
We wish them all the best with their work and helping those who really need it.
