We are excited to support The London Wildlife Trust with a grant of £250,000 for their new project to improve Sydenham Hill and Dulwich Woods in Southwark. This important work will include habitat conservation that will directly restore, protect, and improve 27.4 hectare of ancient woodland habitat.
Resurfaced footpaths, improved signage, fencing and benches are some of the measures that will improve visitor experience across both woods. At the same time, protections for fragile habitats will improve outcomes for in ground-nesting birds, tree seedlings, wildflowers, and pollinators. We look forward to positive changes for visitors, flora and fauna in Southwark.
