We are excited to announce the first UK university that we will be partnering with to support translational cardiac research. With a grant of £400K, over four years, we will be supporting a clinical PhD position at the University of Leicester.
Leicester’s LifeMap project is a novel, highly promising technique for assessing risk of sudden cardiac death – a condition that kills 3 million people annually. Our grant will allow the University to further the project, applying recent developments in the University’s research to post-MI (Myocardial Infarction) patients with less impaired cardiac function.
We look forward to working with the University of Leicester in this brand new partnership and wish the University the very best with this innovative piece of research!
