We have have joined forces with the PJI Foundation to jointly fund a pilot project by the JM Memorial Foundation to help young people with mental health problems integrate into the community.
The JM Memorial Foundation is a small local charity in Gibraltar which focuses on “value-based education, participation and inclusion.”
Our donation of £4,000 will enable the charity to work with 8-10 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 for a period of 12-18 months. During this period the charity will build a needs-profile for each individual and arrange targeted support from qualified practicioners in areas such as education, employment, psychological counselling, and social integration into the community. The belief is that with early intervention and support, there will be reduction in relapses and a long-lasting positive impact for the individuals as well as the community.
