In its 9th Year, the Gibraltar International Literary Festival is a highlight of the cultural calendar that brings together renowned authors, intellectuals, and avid readers, and was attended this year by the Festival’s Royal Patron, HRH The Princess Royal. We supported the Festival by enabling the participation of Tanya Goodin, an author, speaker, and podcaster on the subject of our complicated relationship with technology. An award-winning digital entrepreneur, her books ‘My Brain Has Too Many Tabs Open’, ‘Off’ and ‘Stop Staring at Screens’ are published in ten languages, and she is the founder of the digital wellbeing movement Time To Log Off.
Tanya’s conversation with British journalist Rory-Cellan Jones, and James Neish, CEO of the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation, discussed the issues around the “tech-life balance” and suggestions on how we can forge a healthier, happier relationship with our digital devices.
“Thanks to the kind sponsorship of Kusuma Trust, the Gibunco Gibraltar International Literary Festival was able to benefit with the likes of Tanya Goodin. The Festival aims to continue to bring authors of this calibre to the Rock so that it continues as an annual event which both the community and visitors alike can enjoy.” – Suyenne Perez Catania, HM Government of Gibraltar
