We have awarded a small grant to The Design Museum in Kensington to support elements of their upcoming ‘Waste Age’ exhibition. The exhibition will show what design can do to tackle the problem of waste.
With our support, The Design Museum will create a Family Trail to guide young people around the exhibition. The trail will focus on tactile and immersive elements to create a fun journey towards a zero-waste future and challenge visitors to ask, ‘What Can Our Family Do?’ to reduce waste and protect the planet. In addition to the trail, our funding will also help develop a pre-visit podcast that will provide an overview of Waste Age featuring the exhibition’s advisors and curators.
The Waste Age exhibition is due to open on 23 October 2021 to coincide with the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26). We are excited to be supporting this important programme and hope that it can provoke an interesting debate about how we treat our planet and its future.
