We are pleased to be working again with Create (Arts) by giving a grant of £25,000 to their project ‘creative:connection’.
creative:connection will bring together 96 young people, made up of half from mainstream schools and the other half from Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools, for collaborative art workshops. The workshops will take place over a six-day artist residency and the art forms chosen will be inspired by the children. The project uses the power of the creative arts to give disabled and non-disabled children the experience of interacting with and learning from each other, in a fun and informal learning environment!
We look forward to seeing what the children create. For information on our previous partnership with Create (Arts), click here.
