We have awarded a grant of £21,600 to Sparsh Hospice in order for them to expand their facility.
Members of Rotary Club of Banjara Hills started Sparsh Hospice in 2011 by acquiring a small building that was only capable of providing care for 14 patients. Since these humble beginnings the number of users has grown each year and Sparsh has now cared for over 2500 in-patients, home care and outpatients in the last 8 years.
In order to accommodate for this rise in patients, Sparsh is now looking to expand and improve its facilities to suit the needs of their vulnerable “end of life” patients. Our grant will allow Sparsh to grow their facility and the increase the capacity to more than 70 beds providing conveniences that will make stays as pleasant, comfortable, aesthetic and soothing as possible.
