Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) is an environmental and volunteering charity, working to provide outstanding green spaces and outdoor activities. BOST manages and maintains 19 parks, gardens and green spaces, including the Marlborough Sports Garden near London Bridge. Kusuma is delighted to support BOST with a grant of £200,000 to improve the natural environment of the Sports Garden.
The funding will focus on a site-wide greening programming around the new eco-friendly community hub BOST is developing. Site improvements will include greenwalls, new trees, rainwater capture, raised beds and an herb garden.
We are excited to see the renewal and greening of this community asset and look forward to the benefits to people and the biodiversity of the area.
