We are pleased to award a £400K grant to support the creation of a clinical fellow position to carry out cardiac research within Imperial’s National Heart and Lung Institute.
Imperial has designed a streamlined, cost effective, scalable method for determining the best pacemaker settings and a means of calculating a patient’s response to these settings. The clinical fellow will test and validate this new approach to predict which patients will benefit.
This research could lead to significant improvement to the quality of life for heart failure patients, potentially transforming clinical practice and guidelines.
We wish Imperial all the best for this exciting piece of work!
