A grant of over £83,000 has been awarded to the Speakers Trust for their exciting project – Culturally Speaking!
Culturally Speaking will provide opportunities for 13-16 year olds to visit cultural sites in London and study their themes and impact. They will then receive professional public speaking training and deliver a TEDx style showcase of their speeches onstage to an audience of hundreds, including cultural leaders and local decision makers.
Speakers Trust aims to work with 2,400 young people over two years of this programme and build their confidence, resilience, social capital, and connection to culture. We eagerly await the showcase of their newfound skills!
