We are pleased to partner with Somerset House again to support their Makerversity Exhibition and Learning Programme! Makerversity run a community of over 300 members who operate at the intersection of design, engineering, and digital practise with a focus on driving fundamental change across climate change, health, and inequality.
We are granting over £115,000 to The Makerversity Exhibition, which will bring visibility to this innovative making process, connecting audiences with the maker’s journey from prototype to scaling for real-world application. The exhibition is anticipated to reach 25,000 visitors and taster days and week-long workshops will be held for 16-21 year olds to spark interest, creativity and develop skills in both the creative and STEM fields.
We look forward to seeing the makers, creators and innovators of the future get inspired by this project! To read up on our previous grant with Somerset House, click here.
