Hammersmith & Fulham’s Youth Zone will be a new community centre (called zones) for young people in the borough due to open in Spring 2024. Once opened the new zone aims to engage with more than 3,500 ‘members’ aged between 8 and 19 years old or those aged up to 25 with a disability annually. We are supporting them with an unrestricted grant of £150,000 to help achieve their fundraising target.
This new Youth Zone will be a purpose-built space that provides young people with access to high-quality sports, arts and leisure facilities and activities, seven days a week. It will be staffed by dedicated youth workers who aim to help members see what they could achieve and give them the skills, confidence, and ambition to go for it.
We are excited to begin this new partnership and, once opened, we look forward to hearing about the real difference the zone has made to the young people of Hammersmith & Fulham.
