The Young Westminster Foundation has been awarded a grant of £16,805 to undertake an exciting series of projects connecting Westminster young people with the exciting world of London theatre. In partnership with The Ambassador Theatre group, participating youth clubs will receive tickets to the best the West End has to offer from The Lion King to The Woman in Black. An additional programme, in partnership with Mousetrap Theatre Projects, will provide a series of exciting workshops ranging from performance skills, to communication to self-esteem building themes.
Our grant will also support a work experience programme focused on theatre administration as well as community events for youth exploring the potential of live entertainment careers. We are excited about having the chance to support these amazing opportunities for young people in Westminster.
