Our annual Kusuma University Interview Workshops took place in Gibraltar last week, offering students from Bayside and Westside schools the opportunity to improve their interview skills. Over the course of the week, around 50 students had one-to-one sessions to help them prepare for interviews as part of the selection process for their chosen university.
The workshops provided subject specific feedback and advice to the students who are applying to Oxford, Cambridge and other Russel Group universities, and a wide range of subjects including medicine, biomedical sciences, veterinary science, midwifery, psychology, English, teaching and nursing.
This year, due to the challenges presented by Covid19, Jane Marshall from Optimising Futures UK conducted the workshops virtually. Jane has over 18 years’ experience working for top UK universities, advising students on the university application process and interviews.
Christopher Gomila, Education advisor for the Department for Education said: “The students have benefited tremendously from your input and will put their best foot forward as a result. My thanks to Kusuma Trust Gibraltar for supporting this once again.”
